Tell Your Institutional Story: Beyond Benchmarking with Academic Analytics
Wednesday, June 8, 10:45 AM – 11:30 AM. Room 223

All offices in the modern University have needs for data that inform decisions, allow insights, or showcase success. Academic Analytics is uniquely poised to fulfill multiple data needs across campus with a comprehensive database of the faculty life cycle from training to scholarship.  Alumni Insight provides actionable data on your bachelor’s, master’s, doctoral, and postdoctoral alumni employment. External Discovery Site (EDS) combines Academic Analytics’ accurate and comprehensive scholarly activity data with a university’s own warehoused data to create a modern, configurable, fully pre-populated public website showcasing research and researchers at the faculty, program, department, and center level. Faculty Insight (FI) enables scholars, administrators, and students to identify collaborators on campus and throughout the nation by searching for expertise within our extensive database of scholarly works. Scholars control their own profiles FI and EDS and can access targeted funding and honorific award opportunities.

About Academic Analytics:

Academic Analytics is a full-service source for data to explore faculty research activity, facilitate faculty development, analyze research trends among peer universities, and better follow the careers of bachelor’s, master’s, doctoral and postdoctoral alumni. Our new Clinical Research benchmarking tool includes research activities for scholars in clinical disciplines. These data support strategic investment decisions, benchmarking research activity, reviewing academic units, and developing the university research enterprise.

Combining Academic Analytics data with university data, Academic Analytics has developed Discovery Suite, a customizable search environment enabling university leaders to curate faculty profiles, identify faculty experts, create multi-disciplinary research projects, locate federal or private funding, identify candidates and nominators for disciplinary awards, and to showcase the university research enterprise.
