AAD2022 Release Enhancements Preview for Data Liaisons

AAD 2022 will be released in early October. This database represents the next step in our efforts to provide subscribers with actionable, objective data reflecting feedback from clients as well as 20 years of reviewing data to understand the diverse disciplinary research strategies that comprise the US research enterprise. ​

The release will include:

• Enhanced calculation for the Scholarly Research Index (SRI)
• Three new data elements (book chapters, patents, and clinical trials)
• New methodology for including grants data over time
• Updates to broad field categorizations

These changes will also go into effect for all historical annual releases.
